Iron Age Fort Walk

A 5 or 2.5 mile walk, starting and finishing at The Full Moon, Hawridge Common, Nr Chesham.

The walk includes Grim's Ditch and Cholesbury Camp, both ancient earthworks, in the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It is rich in wildlife including fox, badger, and muntjac deer; birds including pheasant, woodpecker and barn owl as well as many butterflies.

Paths can be wet and muddy underfoot, wellingtons recommended in winter, sturdy boots or shoes in summer.
