Hertfordshire County Council's Rural Estate has its centenary in 2008 and in conjunction with its tenants manages large tracts of Hertfordshire's countryside. Join the County Council's land agent and its ecologist at Saffron Green and discover how this unusual mosaic of grassland fields and hedgerows are managed. Meet at entrance off Galley Lane, Barnet (between A1 Trotters Bottom and Arkley). Car parking to be made available off field entrance track.
